About Sonic Fix 

I was still at school when I heard a live band for the first time - the sound was amazing. It inspired me to design and build my first valve guitar amp. Since then, I have had over 40 years working as an engineer in the electronic test and measurement business and travelled to a lot of interesting places and worked with a lot of interesting and inspiring people. I built my first electric guitar when I was 14 and have played ever since. As a young lad I also had classical piano lessons - but that's another story! It's fair to say that Music is in my blood - my Grandfather was a Bandleader (who could play almost any instrument) and my Mother worked for Mullard Valves in Mitcham.
